Episode Summary
In this episode, I’m having an open discussion with you about how being authentic to yourself can be a game-changer throughout your personal and professional life, even when the world seems to push back.
While I use LinkedIn as my most recent example, where my tiny following of a few hundred blew up to over 10,000 in under 5 months, without any marketing or advertising campaigns, I applied the same principles of true authenticity and identity that I used during my professional sporting years in the 1990s, university education (with dyslexia), and my entrepreneurship journey since 2002.
I’m sharing my personal stories of overcoming challenges, from navigating societal expectations to tackling the complexities of AI and technology, with a hint of family pressure that comes with being obsessed with keeping up with the Joneses.
We’ll also dive into the importance of questioning everything around us and how embracing our unique identities can turn perceived weaknesses into strengths.
Join me in this conversation as we explore these themes and more, all while keeping it real and honest. Let’s break down barriers and build a future where authenticity reigns supreme!
