International Women’s Day 2025 ‼️ WARNING ‼️ – Please Read and Act!

2025 marks a particularly dark path for women that we must fight against at all costs.

2025 marks a particularly dark path for women that we must fight against at all costs.

UN Women released a report on March 6, 2025, stating that women’s and girls’ rights are facing unprecedented growing threats worldwide, from higher levels of discrimination to weaker legal protections, and less funding for programs and institutions that support and protect women.

The report, “Women’s Rights in Review 30 Years After Beijing”, published ahead of the UN 50th International Women’s Day on 8 March, shows that in 2024 nearly a quarter of governments worldwide reported a backlash on women’s rights!

Despite important progress, a woman or girl is killed every 10 minutes by a partner or member of her own family.

How about today’s news that as many as 100,000 photos and online posts including a female Medal of Honor recipient, Black soldiers and people whose last name is ‘Gay’ may be axed in the diversity eradication ordered by Donald Trump – disgustingly idiotic!

And, of course, in my world of tech and AI, digital tools and businesses spread harmful stereotypes, while the digital gender gap limits women’s opportunities.

As Mark Zuckerberg put it: Meta and others need to be “more masculine” 🙄

As I have embarked on my journey with The CEO Retort since November 2024, I have met and spoken to many young women aspiring entrepreneurs who consistently share with me their concerns about a world that is violently more anti-women.

I receive e-mails and DMs on LinkedIn from women who wish to share their topic ideas and stories anonymously out of fear of despicable trolls in an apparent professional network. I’ve even been told of cases where some of these trolls tracked women’s work addresses. This is in 2025!

And yet, there are forces out there claiming that women are “taking over the world” while the poor men are left behind.

My message to you “men” is to get your heads out of your backsides and open your eyes to reality.

Yes, there is an alarming rise in mental health problems amongst young men, but also amongst young women. The system has failed today’s young, and they are suffering.

I have dedicated my podcast to challenge such narratives, but also inspire and empower young people.

The image below is of my guests, who are truly remarkable and inspiring women leaders in their fields:

Dr Valeria Sadovykh, Ida Tin, Cindy Gallop and Professo Sara Grimes. Thank you for your early support, and looking forward to our next rounds 🙂

With this, I’m announcing that I will dedicate the next month to interviewing only women leaders to commemorate International Women’s Day, and we already have two new episodes in the pipeline with amazing guests.

Do your part to stop inequality against women. For starters, stop electing misogynists!

If we continue to suppress half of humanity, we will end all of humanity!
